From Pumpkin to ColoniasdeFerias.pt
A Holiday Camps.pt born from experience and from the heart of Pumpkin family. In 2010, Mariana Melo Pessoa and Frank de Brabander, a Portuguese-Dutch couple and first-time parents of Leonor (our "Pumpkin"), created a centralized platform that offered information and services to families. Thus, Pumpkin.pt was born.
Over more than 15 years of dedication to the family services market in Portugal, Pumpkin has grown exponentially, becoming a reference for thousands of parents looking for activities, events, and solutions for their children. It was precisely during this journey that Mariana and Frank, as parents, experienced and understood the enormous difficulty that parents face in filling the long vacation months of your children in a safe and enriching way.
"It was this awareness and the experience we gained at Pumpkin that led us to take the next step. We began offering a summer camp reservation service at Pumpkin itself, and the response from families was overwhelming. We realized we needed an even more focused and specialized space.
So, with the same commitment, passion and in-depth knowledge of what families really need, we created Holiday Camps.ptWe are the same team, with the same vision of a family helping other families, but now with a platform entirely dedicated to simplifying your search for the perfect vacation for your children. Our history is proof of our commitment to innovation and offering the best support, because we understand your needs.
We work side by side with our partners, which are carefully selected for the excellence of their work and the high standard of quality they offer. We believe that collaboration is key to success, so our focus is to support these organizers in promoting their programs, ensuring they reach more families. This strategic partnership allows us not only to help our partners grow but also to ensure that families who come to us have access to the best possible experiences, with the trust and professional support they deserve.”

I'm lucky to work with the best team in the world and have the best adventure partner in life!
For three years I provided customer support to families looking to fill their children's holidays – I know their challenges well and love the opportunity to help them, as well as our partners at Pumpkin and Holiday Camps.pt.
I'm Frank, and I love spending time with my daughters, whether it's playing Pokemon, traveling to new places, battling, creating crazy recipes together with the produce from our garden, or simply being together at home with a good book, movie, or cuddles.
