- To learn about the different types of cameras, from professional ones to mobile phones.

- Learn the most important menu settings.
- Understanding what ISO is and why it's so important in photography.
- Understanding the relationship between ISO and light, movement, and sharpness.
- Practical outdoor exercises to put learning into practice.
Seeing the World Through Different Eyes – Today we're going to delve deeper into the photographic gaze and play with lenses and
compositions!
- To learn about the different types of lenses.
- Understanding what focal length, aperture, and diaphragm are.
- Learning to control exposure time and depth of field.
- Understanding light: how to get the right exposure and avoid photos that are too bright or too dark.
- Practical outdoor exercises to put learning into practice.
The Magic of Movement Let's explore time and movement in images!
- Discover what a shutter is and why it's important.
- Learn about shutter speeds and how to use them to create amazing effects.
- Single shot vs. continuous fire.

To confirm your registration, a deposit of 50% of the course fee is required. Registrations without this payment will not be accepted, and proof of payment must be sent. The remaining balance must be paid at the beginning of the course.

Since 1995, Studio 8a has conducted over 5.000 training sessions in various areas of photography and has trained more than 10.000 participants in Portugal and Spain.
In 2005, Studio 8a received the “FotoÓscar FotoVendas Digital 05 – Cultural Merit” award, which recognized its contribution to the teaching of photography and the promotion of events dedicated to this art.
Additional information
The course accepts students of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.
Participants should bring their own camera. Any digital camera is acceptable, but a professional camera is preferred. Reflex (DSLR), Mirrorless, Compact.
If the course/workshop does not take place due to the fault of STUDIO8A/WS8A, the participant will receive a full refund of the amount paid. If the participant withdraws, the refund of the deposit or amount paid depends on the following timeframe:
- Up to 30 days before: 100%
- Up to 14 days before: 50%
- Up to 7 days before: 25%
- Less than 7 days or after onset: 0%
