Musical Theatre Workshops in Porto, where children from 6 years old will get to know and experience various musicals during the summer!
Do your children enjoy singing the hits from cartoons and TV series? This Musical Theatre summer camp in Valongo, Porto, is a unique opportunity for them to develop their artistic talents.
The "Step in Time" school in Valongo will be hosting four weeks of Musical Theatre workshops in Porto, where participants will learn about and perform in the musicals "The Sound of Music," "K-POP Demon Hunters," "Moulin Rouge," and "Harry Potter."
Each workshop lasts one week and includes a final presentation on Friday, at a time to be determined, where the work done in each workshop will be presented.
There is still one Musical theatre workshop for children in Porto A Trolls-themed event for children aged 4 and up, during the week of July 20-24.

Why participate in the Musical Theatre Summer Camp in Porto?
During several weeks of the summer, between July 20th and August 14th, 2026Children and young people will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of Musical Theatre, combining a structured pedagogical method with the typical fun of summer holidays.
Pedagogy and Trainers
The teaching approach will be carefully adapted by each instructor, taking into account the specific characteristics of each musical and the ages of the participants.

Program
Each workshop will take place over one week. The program includes musical and dance activities, as well as a final presentation of the work developed in each workshop.
MUSIC IN THE HEART – THE MUSICAL (July 20-24, 2026)
Maria transforms a family's life with music and joy, teaching that songs and dance can unite hearts and bring happiness to everyone.
DEMON HUNTERS – THE MUSICAL (July 27-31, 2026)
The young demon hunters, locked in a battle between good and evil, have the coolest songs and dances of the moment!
MOULIN ROUGE – THE MUSICAL (August 3-7, 2026)
The glamorous story explores forbidden loves and dazzling shows, in a world of music, dance, and passion at the iconic Moulin Rouge.
HARRY POTTER – THE MUSICAL (August 10-14, 2026)
The most magical week evokes adventures at Hogwarts and magical challenges, spells, and fantastic creatures!

Languages
The monitors are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages and can help with translation and clarification.

Meals can be included during the workshop for an additional cost. €45 per weekLunch is provided daily by Maria Costa Restaurant.
If you do not opt for this service, participants must bring their own lunch and snacks. The venue has... refrigerator to store food and microwave to heat food, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the day.

Leaving the school grounds during lunchtime is not permitted.
