Two weeks of creativity in September for children aged 8 to 14, in Lisbon. Book now!
The Artistic Drawing and Painting Workshops in Lisbon are for children and young people aged 8 to 14 who enjoy drawing, painting, or simply trying new things. Summer holidays are the perfect opportunity to discover new ways of observing, representing, and reinventing the world through painting and drawing.
Over the course of one or two weeks, participants use the SNBA exhibitions and the work of various artists as a starting point to create their own pieces. There is room to experiment, make mistakes (the best drawing teacher!), and try again.
The workshops take place from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 17:30 PM, and are divided into two programs:
Week 1 — Visual Manifestos: August 31 to September 4, 2026.
Week 2 — Fable Collection: September 7-11, 2026.

The workshop is conceived and coordinated by Mariana Ramos of Desenho Aberto.

Program
You can choose the week that makes the most sense!
Week 1, Visual Manifestos – A blank sheet of paper is the starting point for exploring shapes, volumes, color, and composition. Through drawing, painting, and observation, participants create their own visual manifestos, inspired by different artists and exhibitions.
Week 2, Fable Collection – The world of fables inspires the creation of original stories. Through tales, drawing, and painting, animals and imaginary characters become protagonists in narratives created through artistic experimentation.

The activities take place from 10:00 AM to 17:30 PM.
Languages
The teachers and instructors at the Artistic Drawing and Painting Workshops in Lisbon are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English.
