This summer is the perfect time to learn guitar from scratch, play together, gain confidence, and impress your friends and family!
The Guitar Course for children in Lisbon is exactly what your music-loving kids need and didn't even know they could! It takes place over two weeks, between June and July 2026. It's recommended for children and teenagers from 9 years old! Adults aren't forgotten either, as there's no age limit to learning the basics of this amazing instrument!
In this summer course, children will have the opportunity to explore the basics of classical guitar, learn new songs, and play together with the other participants. The goal is to have an unforgettable and creative summer exploring the possibilities that open up through mastering a musical instrument!
The Guitar Course in Lisbon, organized by the Lisbon Film Orchestra Academy, takes place in two weekly sessions, distributed between June and July:
Round 1 — June 22 to 26
Phase 2 — June 29 to July 3
Each shift lasts for one week and operates independently, allowing you to enroll your children in the week that is most convenient for you!

Why participate in the Guitar Course in Lisbon during the summer holidays?
At LFO Academy, learning is done in a close, dynamic way, adapted to each student's pace, regardless of their experience level. The aim is for children not only to learn to play the guitar, but also to develop concentration, autonomy, and artistic sensitivity.
Beyond the musical component, there is a strong emphasis on human and pedagogical support. The team is composed of experienced performing arts professionals who view artistic training as a tool for personal and social growth.

Program
Timetable
The Guitar Course activities will take place between 09:00 AM and 17:00 PM.
Daily, participants will have guitar workshops covering techniques, personalized sessions, and fun activities. Participants must bring their own guitar. (If you do not have a musical instrument and wish to participate, please contact us.)
- 8:30 AM – Arrival of participants
- 9am – technique, left and right hand exercises.
- 10:30 pm – Break
- 11am – Personalized sessions, learning tailored to individual needs.
- 12:30 – Lunch
- 13:15 PM – Recreational activities with a monitor
- 15:30 PM – Musical rehearsal of the ensemble – guitar orchestra.
- 17 PM – End. Participants drop off. The Academy will be open until 17:30 PM.
Languages
The instructors and monitors are able to communicate with the participants in both Portuguese and English.

The weekly cost includes lunch and two simple snacks (milk/juice and fruit/biscuits), one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Payment Terms for Guitar Courses in Lisbon
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of €90 must be paid upon registration for the course, as communicated by the Lisbon Film Orchestra via email. Registration will only be valid after payment has been made and confirmation has been received by email.
Payment should be made by bank transfer to IBAN: [CGD] PT50 0035 0659 00012951730 41. The Tax Identification Number (NIF) and full tax address (as well as city and postal code) are required for issuing an invoice/receipt. Without this information, the organization cannot issue the document.
In case of withdrawal, the registration fee will not be refunded.
