Programme

At this Summer Camp in Sintra, your little ones will experience a week full of unforgettable adventures. The program has been carefully designed to offer a balance of fun, culture, and action, with activities that stimulate creativity, team spirit, and a love of discovery. Between mystery puzzles, extreme activities, nighttime games, and moments of sharing in the clubs, there will be no shortage of entertainment. It's a week so full that, by the end, you'll be saying you need a vacation from vacation!

Working Hours

For the residential format, arrival for the respective shift is on Sunday between 17 pm and 19 pm, and departure on Saturday between 12 pm and 13 pm.

Languages

The monitors are prepared to communicate with participants in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, ensuring successful integration for all children, regardless of their native language. Furthermore, many of the children participating in the camp also speak other languages ​​and are always available to help with translation and answer questions, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Accommodation at the Holiday Camp in Sintra

Participants of the Sintra Holiday Camp stay at Casa da Praia Grande, located in the Sintra Natural Park, with a privileged view of the sea and just a few steps from Praia Grande.

The outdoor space is spacious and includes a soccer field, surrounded by 23.000 square meters of green space, perfect for the little ones' adventures.

Inside, the house features bedrooms, bathrooms, a dining area, a multipurpose room, and a training room—ideal spaces for playing, resting, and learning.

The dormitories have between 2 and 8 bunk beds, organized by age and gender.

Food

All meals are included at the Sintra Summer Camp—from breakfast to dinner, including lunch and a snack. When activities require it, participants also receive a mid-morning snack and supper before bed, ensuring they always have the energy they need to enjoy every moment.

The menu is carefully designed, featuring high-quality, nutritious foods, promoting a healthy and balanced diet. The organization pays special attention to food allergies and intolerances, adapting them whenever necessary. Whenever possible, national and locally sourced products are prioritized, also contributing to more sustainable practices.

Transportation

In the residential format, transportation to and from the summer camp is not included and must be arranged by parents or guardians. However, the organization offers an optional one-way transfer service from Lisbon (location to be confirmed), at a cost of €60 per participant, per week.

Support at the Holiday Camp in Sintra

The instructors at this summer camp in Sintra are mostly young university students who are responsible, fun, and dedicated to providing unforgettable moments for participants. Roda Viva ensures that all instructors receive comprehensive training to ensure the quality, safety, and success of the activities.

Depending on age, each monitor oversees between 6 and 10 participants. Each age group is supervised by a coordinator, and there is always a director or general coordinator present at the camp.

Additional information

To stay in touch with their parents, children can use their phones between 19:00 PM and 20:00 PM. For those without a cell phone, a number will be provided at the start of the summer camp. The coordinator in charge will be the parents' point of contact for the rest of the camp.

The Roda Viva organization, responsible for the Surfcamps in Sintra, sends an information package with all the relevant information before the camp starts.

On the registration form, please indicate if your child has any dietary restrictions or medical recommendations, so that the organization can take this into account.

Participants are not advised to bring valuables.

The terms, conditions, and regulations of the organization apply to the Roda Viva Summer Camp in Sintra. Pumpkin acts solely as an intermediary and is not responsible for payments, administrative processes, or the camp's operation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made up to 60 days before the start of the shift will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 60 and 30 days before the start of the shift will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of the shift will not be eligible for a refund.
