The Christmas Camp in Central Portugal, in Serra d'Aire, takes place from December 26th to 30th and is for children aged 6 to 17. For five days, between Christmas and New Year's, your children will enjoy an immersive, fun, and challenging experience that includes accommodation, meals, and numerous activities!

At this Christmas camp, extreme activities are accompanied by incredible scenery! Did you know that in addition to staying in the magnificent Serra d'Aire, you'll be staying at an Ecological Center located in the heart of the Natural Park? For 5 days and 4 nights, the activities never cease to amaze! There's time for tree climbing, rock climbing, slides, mountain biking, traditional games, donkey rides, and much more. Only those who experience it can explain it, and they always come back with stories to tell!

Working Hours

Arrival time at the holiday camp is between 10:30 and 11:30 on December 26th. Collection is on December 30th at 14:30 pm and 15:30 pm.

Languages

The monitors, who will accompany the children 24 hours a day, are prepared to speak in Portuguese and English.

Prices for Christmas Holiday Camp in Central Portugal (Serra D'Aire) in 2025

The holiday camp is €300 per participant.
Prices include food, accommodation, and activities. Transportation to the colony is the participants' responsibility.

Accommodation at the Christmas Holiday Camp in Central Portugal

Just an hour from Lisbon, Quinta da Escola is located in the Environmental Education Center, in the heart of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. It's the ideal setting for an unforgettable summer camp, where participants have direct contact with nature and participate in a variety of outdoor activities that combine adventure, fun, and learning.

Accommodation is provided at the Quinta itself, in cabins specifically designed for this type of event, ensuring comfort and safety. The facilities include hot showers, playing fields, and common areas, providing everything you need to ensure each day is filled with energy and new experiences.

Quinta da Escola has a long tradition of organizing summer camps and is fully equipped to offer an excellent experience, where adventure, personal and social development, and the creation of unique memories go hand in hand.

Food

All participants will be entitled to six meals: Breakfast, Morning Refreshment, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, and Supper. There are options for all tastes: lactose-free, vegan, vegetarian, and, upon prior notification to the organizers, fructose-free, gluten-free, and Halal options.

If you have any allergies or special dietary requests, just inform the organization in advance!

Meals will be served in restaurants, canteens, or in the kitchens of the holiday center facilities by certified chefs, prioritizing quality (proven by experience from previous years) and also placing great emphasis on the variety and thoughtfulness of the menus chosen.

Participants can also help prepare meals, including barbecues and picnics, but always under the supervision of the teaching team.

All teaching teams at the Summer Camp in the Center have guidelines provided by an in-house nutritionist on appropriate nutrition for participants during the Summer Camp period.

Transportation

Transportation to the Holiday Camp must be provided by the guardian in his/her vehicle, both upon arrival and upon return home.

There's a round-trip transfer from Lisbon to the summer camp at 9:00 a.m. on December 26th and 4:30 p.m. on the last day. You can choose to include the transfer option on the registration form.

Transfer prices are €20 for one trip or €40 for two trips.

Christmas Holiday Camp Supervision in Serra D'Aire

At the Serra D'Aire summer camp, participants are always well-supervised by a team of experienced and attentive instructors, available 24 hours a day. All are first aid trained and know how to ensure safety and fun for all ages.

Children up to 10 years old have one monitor for every six participants, and young people aged 11 to 17 have one monitor for every ten.

Participants can use the phone between 18:30 PM and 20:00 PM to speak with their parents. Outside of these hours, parents can always contact the supervisor in charge.

There's no need to bring valuables. What really matters are the adventures, the smiles, and the memories you'll create!
