The Musical Theatre After-School Program offers dance, singing, and theatre classes for children aged 7 to 18, with varied themes and weekly performances for the whole family.
The Musical Theatre Summer Camp in Carnide, Lisbon, opens its doors during the summer holidays between June 29th and July 17th, 2026. Children and teenagers will unleash their inner stage animal, in groups separated by age!
It will be a week full of theater, dance, and singing classes, with rehearsals culminating in a final performance – prepared from start to finish by the participants. Your children will have the opportunity to take the stage and impress even more than their favorite stars!
The ATL holiday program in Carnide is organized by Truta&Meia Produções, a production company for shows, events, and artistic training that combines a love for its profession with excellence in its productions.

Dates and Availability for ATL Musical Theatre in Lisbon
The ATL musical theatre festival in Carnide takes place between June 29th and July 17th, 2026, from 09:30 am to 17:30 pm.
The program is divided by age groups:
- Teens Week (ages 13 to 18): June 29th to July 3rd.
- Kids Week 1 (ages 7 to 13): July 6th to 10th.
- Kids Week 2 (ages 7 to 13): July 13-17, sold out.
If needed, the ATL team may be available to receive you up to 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled time, upon prior request.

ATL Teatro Musical Lisboa is a fun and creative space where children can explore theatre, music and artistic expression while gaining confidence and making new friends.
This is a space where, in a playful environment conducive to the unleashing of creativity, attention is given to "little" artists, along with the technical tools they provide, the result of professional experience and training.
The children will develop their creative potential and come home happy with what they have learned and built!

The activities take place at the Boutique da Cultura. Military College Avenue, 1500-187 Lisbon.
Program
It will be a week full of music, dance, improvisation and… lots of shows!
The holiday program was designed to promote teamwork and develop socialization and group interaction skills. Simultaneously, it fosters self-confidence and trust within the group through learning technical tools of musical theatre.
- DanceIn the dance aspect, the focus is on developing motor coordination, knowledge of musical theatre choreographic repertoire, and improving self-awareness of the body and its mobility.
- CantoSinging develops respiratory capacity and the correct use of the vocal apparatus. It also encourages sensitivity to musical and rhythmic listening, as well as the application of singing in dance and performance.
- DramaIn the area of theatre, memory and concentration are worked on, as well as articulation and placement of the spoken voice. Character building tools are also introduced, promoting individual and group self-confidence, as well as relaxation.
TEENS WEEK (ages 13 to 18): June 29th to July 3rd, 2026
WEEK 1 AND 2 – KIDS (ages 7 to 13): July 6-10, 2026 and July 13-17, 2026
Timetable
The activities take place between 09:30 AM and 17:30 PM, and the schedule is as follows:
- 09:00 AM – Arrival of participants
- 09:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Dance (1 hour 30 minutes)
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Morning snack
- 11:30 am – 1:00 pm – Singing (13h30)
- 13:00 pm – 14:00 pm – Lunch
- 14:00 pm – 15:30 pm – Theater (1h30)
- 15:30 PM – 16:00 PM – Afternoon snack
- 16:00 PM – 17:30 PM – Rehearsal (1 hour 30 minutes)
- Friday
- 4pm – 6pm – Dress rehearsal (2h)
- 18:00 PM – Final presentation
Languages
The teachers at the Musical Theatre after-school program in Carnide are able to communicate with the participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to help if communication problems arise, because they speak other languages and collaborate in translating and clarifying doubts.
