Surf Holiday Camp on the Costa da Caparica at Easter

This surf camp on the Costa da Caparica opens its doors for two weeks during the Easter school holidays. It will be a week full of surfing, fun and adventure, aimed at children and young people aged 6 to 17. In addition, if the child is coming from the Lisbon area, they can purchase an extra round-trip transportation service from two pick-up points located in the city center.

At this summer camp, the fun happens outdoors, on the beach or in the park. Besides surf lessons, there are also many afternoon activities such as skateboarding, an adventure park with tree climbing and rock climbing, trampolines, inflatables, and other surprises. It will be a holiday of discovery, overcoming challenges, and creating new friendships in a healthy and stimulating environment.

The summer camp runs from 9 am to 17 pm, with the possibility of adjusting the schedule if necessary and with prior notice. Everything has been planned to ensure peace of mind for families and an unforgettable experience for the little surfers!

Programme

Here's an example of a typical week at the Gota Dagua Surf ATL:

In surfing, the goal is always to relax, and that's how it all begins. Lessons aren't just about perfecting techniques, but about creating a safe, relaxed environment full of great experiences.

The chosen beach offers perfect waves for all levels, allowing each student to progress at their own pace, without pressure.

The sessions are led by FPS-certified instructors with many years of experience and a passion for surfing. The commitment is simple: to ensure that each child experiences a week full of the sea, learning, and excitement, always with complete safety guaranteed.

Working Hours

The activities take place between 09:00 AM and 17:00 PM.

Languages

The monitors are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages ​​and can help with translation and clarification.

Prices for Surf Holiday Camp on the Costa da Caparica

The values ​​are as follows:

• 7 surf or bodyboard lessons (every morning and two afternoons) 
• Lunch at Sun Center Caparica 
• Activities such as tree climbing, swimming pool, water games, beach volleyball.

• Maximum of 6 children per monitor and 1 monitor for every 10 students who provide support and supervise the entire camp.

Transportation to the coast is an optional service.

Lunch

The Surf Camp in Caparica offers a daily morning snack with fruit and biscuits, always accompanied by the essential: water.

Lunch is included and served at the Sun Center Caparica; you can choose between a regular menu or a diet menu.

You should bring a small snack for the afternoon, something to give you energy after so many activities.

And don't forget: if your child has allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate this information on the registration form.

• Option 2 – Almada: BP gas station in Almada (before the bridge) at 17:00 PM (Caparica-Almada direction).

What to take?

The most important thing to bring is joy and a positive attitude, along with:

• Swimsuit, to be worn under a wetsuit (like swimming trunks or boxer shorts for the guys).
• Sunscreen cream
• Rich cream to prevent possible diaper rash (like Nivea or Halibut)
• Beach towel
• Bottle of water
• A snack for the end of the day or money for it.
• Change of clothes, in case you get dirty (optional)
