The monitors can communicate with participants in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages ​​and can help with translation and clarification.

How to pay

Payment for the Holiday Camp must be made as follows: 30% of the total amount upon confirmation of the reservation, and the remaining 70% before, or upon entry to the Holiday Camp.

In both situations, proof of payment must be presented. Payment methods are: bank transfer, MBWay, cash or card (the latter only in person).

Accommodation at the Holiday Camp in Ponte de Lima

At the Holiday Camp in Ponte de Lima, participants spend the night camping in tents shared by two young people, equipped with individual inflatable mattresses for greater comfort.

The camp is set up in a dedicated, well-prepared space, located next to the changing rooms, ensuring comfort and accessibility.

The monitors remain on site overnight, sharing the campsite with the participants. They are organized in shifts of two to ensure night watch and the well-being of everyone. If weather conditions are particularly adverse, the group will be accommodated at the Interpretation Centre of the Villages of Mesa dos 4 Abades, always guaranteeing the safety and comfort of the participants.

Food

Meals during the Summer Camp include breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, ensuring that participants are always well nourished throughout the day.

Whenever possible, meals will be served in the Adventure Park dining room. On days when the group participates in activities outside the park, lunch and snacks will be provided on a buffet basis, adapted to the day's schedule.

Meals are prepared by a professional chef at a nearby restaurant and served in the park. The weekly menu is previously evaluated by a nutritionist, ensuring a balanced, varied diet tailored to the young people's needs.

Includes full board: breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner.

Transportation

The price does not include round-trip transportation to the holiday camp, which must be provided by those responsible.

Side Dishes

The Ponte de Lima Summer Camp has a team of counselors who have received in-house training specifically for this type of program. They are committed professionals with strong values ​​and skills such as dynamism, dedication, sensitivity, and a pedagogical approach tailored to different age groups.

Many of these monitors have extensive experience in supervising children and young people, some of them being teachers, which reinforces the quality and professionalism of the team, available to monitor participants 24 hours a day.

Supervision is organized by age group, with a ratio of 1 monitor for every 8 children between 8 and 12 years old, and 1 for every 10 young people between 13 and 17 years old, ensuring close, attentive and personalized monitoring.

Additional information

Parents will have a time slot to contact their children, which will be provided by the coordinator of the corresponding age group.

Please indicate on the booking form if your child has any dietary restrictions or medical recommendations, so the organization can take this into account.

Participants are not advised to bring valuables.

What do I need to bring to the holiday camp in Ponte de Lima?

High-quality clothing is not recommended, as it may become damaged and/or dirty during activities. You should bring practical, comfortable clothing in sufficient quantity.

Good mood must be accompanied by:

• Sleeping bag (mandatory);
• Slippers for bathing and activities
  aquatic;
• Warm sweaters (2 or 3), t-shirts,
  pants, shorts, underwear and pajamas.
• Swimsuit, bikini or shorts, sunscreen
  sunscreen, cap, insect repellent, flashlight and backpack;
• You may bring some objects for the themed activities, but it is not mandatory.
• 2 pairs of sneakers;
• Personal hygiene products (shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

In case of withdrawal from participation, there will be no refund if notice is given up to 10 days prior to the start of the Summer Camp. If withdrawal occurs between 11 and 30 days before the start of the Summer Camp, the refund will be 50%. If notice is given more than 30 days in advance, the refund will be full.

In the event of a force majeure reason for cancellation, the refund will be in full, but only for notices given up to one week before the start of the holiday camp.
