Rockstar for a Week: this Music Holiday Camp in Oeiras is for children and young people with or without musical experience.

Designed for children and young people aged 7 to 18, this rock-themed summer camp invites participants to immerse themselves in the world of music through an intense experience of banding, creating, and live performance!

Over five days, the young musicians work together, participate in daily rehearsals, explore different musical styles, and prepare a final concert where they can showcase everything they have learned on stage.

No prior experience is necessary: ​​the most important thing is the willingness to experiment, learn, and be part of the band. During the week, each participant will be able to develop skills in guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, or vocals, also discovering how the real dynamics of a musical group work.

Through workshops, creative activities, team challenges, and plenty of music, participants gain confidence, autonomy, a collaborative spirit, and stage presence in a week designed to stimulate talent, creativity, and fun.

Themed weeks

The Summer Rock Camp in Oeiras takes place over three themed weeks in July:

• July 13-17: BRIT INVACATION: A direct dive into the origin of it all. The British Invasion wasn't just a historical moment, it was a shift in musical language.
• July 20-24: BEST OF 2010: It's not about nostalgia, it's about recognition. The 2010s changed the way music is made, consumed, and constructed as an identity.
• July 27-31: Hard N' Heavy: Hard Rock and Heavy Metal demand precision, stamina, and control; it's not just about volume. It's about technique, timing, and stage presence.

Morning

The mornings are more focused on integrating the participants and on musical work.

Languages

The monitors are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages ​​and can help with translation and clarification.

This holiday camp costs €299 per week.

Transport

Transportation to the Music Holiday Camp must be provided by the parent/guardian in their own vehicle, both upon arrival and upon return home.

Specialized Care

This summer camp is run by School of Rock Algés Miraflores, a music school dedicated to performance-based learning, where learning takes place through the practical experience of playing in a band and performing on stage.

Throughout the week, participants are supported by certified teachers, experienced musicians, and monitors responsible for group activities and dynamics, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and creative environment.
