Future Makers is a summer camp in Porto, created for children and young people aged 7 to 14, with dynamic and hands-on activities that stimulate creativity, inventive thinking and the confidence to turn ideas into reality.

Why participate in the Makers' Summer Camp in Porto?
This creativity and technology summer camp has a program designed for children and young people who enjoy discovering, creating, and experimenting with new technologies in a fun and engaging way. Throughout the activities, participants have the opportunity to develop projects, explore programming, build creative solutions, and transform ideas into something real, always in a safe, stimulating environment and accompanied by specialized monitors.
Throughout each week, hands-on challenges encourage collaboration, autonomy, and creative thinking, while also helping to develop digital and personal skills. Amidst learning, projects, and new experiences, there's also room for making friends, working as a team, and enjoying moments full of energy and fun.

Program
Weekly Themes
Week 1
Play Lab: Game Factory
June 29th to July 3th
Creating games, cooperative challenges, sensors, lights, and interactive experiences.
Week 2
Monster Factory: Fantastic Creatures and Their Worlds
6 to 10 July
Exploring creative design, modeling, mechanics, simple electronics, and building creatures with personality and movement.
Week 3
RoboCity: Building an Automated City
13 to 17 July
Collaborative construction of cities, vehicles, bridges, smart homes, and automated mechanisms using robotics and programming.
Week 4
Inventors Lab: Solving Real-World Problems Through Technology
August 31 to September 4
Developing solutions inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using maker tools and technology.
Each week, participants will explore:
Electronics and circuits
3D printing and modeling
Robotics with LEGO and simple mechanics
Creative programming (Arduino, Micro:bit)
Free design and creation projects.
Timetable
Opening hours: 9:30 am to 17:00 pm (lunch break from 12:30 pm to 14:00 pm)
Reception from 9:00 AM (possibility of extension upon request)
