The Summer Camp in Gaia in 2026 is for children aged 6 to 12 who have a curiosity as big as the Douro River and little desire to spend their holidays without adventures.
Between July 20 and September 11, 2026, this Summer Camp transforms the museums and interactive spaces of WOW Porto into a week of creative activities, games, workshops, and cultural experiences.
Children explore themes such as sustainability, archaeology, chocolate, art, ceramics, and the history of Porto through visits, workshops, and challenges! Everything is included – from lunch and snacks to museum entrance fees, activities, and insurance!

Why participate in the Summer Camp in Gaia?
This camp leverages the WOW Porto universe to create a week that combines culture, creativity, and hands-on experiences, without feeling like a traditional school trip.
Small group: The limit of 14 children per week encourages monitoring, participation, and a closer experience.

The field event takes place in WOW Porto, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in Rua do Choupelo, 39, 4400-088 Vila Nova de Gaia.
Program
At this Cultural Holiday Camp in Gaia, fun comes first… every day!
The weekly program is organized by day, with each day dedicated to a different experience within WOW Porto.
- Monday: Visit to The Wine Experience and workshop “The Most Eco-Friendly Hotel”.
- Tuesday: Visit to the Porto Region Across The Ages Museum, "Archaeologist for a Day" activity, and tile painting workshop.
- Wednesday: A visit to The Chocolate Experience and the "Bean to Kitchen" workshop, which includes making chocolate bars.
- Thursday: A visit to The Art of Drinking, a treasure hunt, the "Little Artists" workshop, and painting ceramic pieces.
- Friday: Visit to the Pink Palace, "Pink Quest" activity, games at the museum, "Paint Your Cup" and movie session.
Children can also enjoy playtime with traditional games in the garden!
Languages
The monitors have the ability to communicate with the participants in Local Guide, English and SpanishFurthermore, many children spontaneously help when there are minor communication difficulties, collaborating in translation and clarification among classmates.

The program runs from 09:30 AM to 17:30 PM. Each week is limited to 14 children, and a minimum of 4 participants is required for the program to take place.
