Football Holiday Camp in Ponte de Sor, Alentejo

The Summer Camp in Ponte de Sor will take place until September 05, 2025, and is intended for children aged 9 to 17, who will be divided into three groups according to age range (9, 10 and 11 years; 12, 13 and 14 years; 15, 16 and 17 years).

Each camp lasts for 1 week (Sunday to Friday) and costs €299.

Why participate in the Football Holiday Camp in Ponte de Sor?

This experience aims to provide young football players with the opportunity to experience an intensive week of training, as if it were an internship. A rigorous, intensive, diverse and pedagogically adapted program for the three (3) age groups it comprises (9, 10 and 11 years; 12, 13 and 14 years; 15, 16 and 17 years).

The training camps will be organized into groups/teams of twelve to fifteen participants each, depending on age groups, with each group having the constant supervision of a coach (trainer of the specific sport) and a monitor. In addition to having a large team of collaborators for the various areas, each camp always has a member of the medical staff and a technical coordinator present.

Programme

Children and young people will not stop!

• Sunday: Reception of participants; rules of operation; interactive games;
• Monday: twice-daily sports training; motor skills training; recreational activities;
• Tuesday: twice-daily sports training; swimming pool; cultural activity; entertainment activity;
• Wednesday: Motor skills training; nautical activities; night excursion;
• Thursday: twice-daily sports training; swimming pool; cultural activity; entertainment activity;
• Friday: Internal tournament (morning and afternoon) and closing session.

Examples of cultural activities and excursions include:

• Ponte de Sor Aerodrome;

• Montargil Dam (for nautical activities);
• Galveias Swimming Pool (water park).

Languages

The instructors are able to communicate with the participants in Portuguese, French, and Spanish. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to help if communication problems arise, because they speak other languages ​​and collaborate in translating and clarifying doubts.

If you wish to enroll your children for more than one week in July at the summer camp, you can benefit from a discount of €20,00 per camp, provided you pay for them in advance.

Accommodation

Participants in the Sports Holiday Camp in Ponte de Sor will be staying at the Ponte de Sor Secondary School and should bring a sleeping bag.

The space includes rooms transformed into group bedrooms, common areas and recreational play areas, a library, a dining hall, an auditorium, a medical office, a set of indoor and outdoor sports areas, changing rooms, bathrooms, multipurpose areas and plenty of outdoor space.

Food

All meals are included: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and supper.

High-quality, varied menus are prepared by specialized cooks, taking into account the age groups of our participants and the type of activities planned at the camps.

Alternative menus are also taken into account for participants with medical conditions or health situations that require different diets.

Transportation

Transportation to the Holiday Camp must be provided by the guardian in his/her vehicle, both upon arrival and upon return home.

Side Dishes

The activities are controlled, monitored, supervised, and methodically planned by technicians, monitors, and collaborators specialized in each area, so that nothing goes wrong and all details are considered, thus preventing potential problems.

Additional information

If any family members or friends of the participants intend to visit a camp during the course of the event, they must notify the organization in advance by sending an email or filling out the designated field on the registration form.

Visits are permitted during the following periods: from 14:00 PM to 14:30 PM and from 20:00 PM to 20:30 PM, Monday to Friday, provided that no group activities are scheduled.

All activities held in public spaces can be viewed by participants' family members or the general public, but during the activity period, visitors are not allowed to remain in the private facilities where the camps are taking place (unless invited by the organization), in order to avoid distracting the participants from the activities being carried out.
