Summer camp in Cascais – Summer with Workshops of the World

At this summer camp in Cascais, the little ones will enjoy a summer holiday with sun and sea in the morning and games in the afternoon!

The summer camp in Cascais is for children aged 6 to 14 who love sun and sea. In the morning, they can enjoy the sun and play in the water and pool, while in the afternoon they can expect extreme games and creative and cultural activities!

The activities will take place from July 20th to August 14th, Monday to Friday. Each class will have a minimum of 13 and a maximum of 25 participants!

Working Hours

The activities take place from 09:00 AM to 18:00 PM.

08:00 – 09:00: Delivery at the Rota Jovem Youth Association (Cascais)
09:00 AM – 17:45 PM: Activities
17:45 PM – 18:00 PM: Return and departure of participants from the activities to the Rota Jovem Youth Association – return home.

Languages

The counselors at the Cascais summer camp are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, other participants are always available to help whenever communication difficulties arise.

The participation fee is €200 per participant/week (VAT included).

Payment Conditions

Payment is made in two installments: 15% upon registration and the remaining 75% up to 10 business days before the start of the summer camp.

Specialized Care

The team consists of a field director (non-presential), a field coordinator (presential), and monitors in a number adjusted to the group of participants, in accordance with the legal ratio defined in Decree-Law No. 32.

All counselors are of legal age, have specific training in summer camps and first aid, and have an up-to-date criminal record. The presence of at least one counselor fluent in English is also guaranteed each period.

The sporting activities on Tuesday afternoons are organized by partner organizations, always under the supervision of the field team.

The program can be adjusted whenever necessary, ensuring the smooth running of activities and the safety of participants.

Before the start of the summer camp, a meeting is held with parents and guardians to clarify any doubts and introduce the team.

Transport

Parents/Guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up the children. However, the cost of the camp includes all travel expenses related to the activities.
