The Tribo do Mar sports holiday camp in Faro, Algarve, takes place from June 28th to August 1st, on Faro Beach. Designed for children and young people aged 8 to 17, it includes accommodation (camping), beach and sea activities, and a complete summer experience.
This is one of those adventures you'll remember for a lifetime: warmth, friends, beach, kayaks, surfing, contact with marine flora and fauna, and many other activities that make this Algarve summer camp truly unforgettable.
The Tribo do Mar program was developed to awaken in children and young people an interest, passion, and respect for aquatic environments. It features experienced coordinators in the areas of sports, rescue, and aquatic emergencies, equipped with fun and educational activities that ensure participants effectively learn everything they need to know about water safety.

Estuary and Sea
The Tribe of the Sea takes place on Faro Beach, the setting for activities planned to take advantage of both the stunning Ria Formosa and the seaside of the beach.
Learning with joy
The organization offers a balanced combination of entertainment and theoretical and practical training. Safety is the number one priority in the weekly activity plan, which includes water sports such as kayaking, SUP, surfing, water and sand games, as well as training in first aid and water rescues.
Maritime Citizenship
Red Seagull believes it is important to teach responsible and ethical attitudes through the practice of maritime citizenship, which involves respect for nature, including marine fauna and flora, and compliance with maritime rules and regulations. They encourage our participants to be responsible for the marine environment and the community at large.
Languages
The instructors can communicate with the participants in both Portuguese and English. Many of the participating children are able to help if communication problems arise, because they speak other languages and collaborate in translating and clarifying doubts.

Accommodation at a Sports Holiday Camp in the Algarve
The Tribo do Mar sports holiday camp in the Algarve offers an all-inclusive residential model:
Residential (Camp) – A seaside holiday camp.
After the last meal, various activities will be available for socializing and entertainment until bedtime.
The camp takes place in Faro Municipal Campsite, ensuring comfort and safety.
There is a specific time for participants to contact their families, between 18:00 PM and 20:00 PM.
Food
Includes 4 meals a day: Breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner.
Transportation
Participants must arrive at the summer camp independently, accompanied by their parents.
However, there are transfer options offered by the organization from Faro Train Station, Faro Airport and Faro Bus Station, for an extra cost: €40 return or €20 for a one-way trip.
Side Dishes
The safety of participants is a priority. The Municipal Campsite has 24-hour security, and identification bracelets will be used to control entry and exit. No participant may leave the premises without prior authorization, and during the night, only accompanied by a coordinator or monitor.
Additional information
Participants will have access to their mobile phones from dinnertime until bedtime. They can also contact their families between 19:00 PM and 20:30 PM.
