How A Escolinha do Figo came about

Created in 2009 by Luís Figo, together with João Guerra, A Escolinha (The Little School) emerged as part of the Dream Football project, a digital platform that taught football through simple videos, accessible to all families. The idea was to use everyday objects, such as buckets, brooms, chalk, and garages, to show that it is not resources that make a player, but rather the will to learn and improve.

The television series, broadcast in Portugal, quickly became a phenomenon. In just three months, it became the favorite children's program for children under 10, and the 6th most-watched program for children under 14, with viewership split almost evenly between girls and boys. And, perhaps even more surprising, it was also the most-watched children's series among adults. Each video involved the entire family: parents, siblings, and grandparents created the scenarios and trained together.

The success was such that the public began asking for a physical version of the concept. And thus were born the A Escolinha do Figo gyms, which today have more than 50 locations in Portugal and even a pilot gym in London.

What happens over the course of a week?

The program was designed to combine football and fun, with structure, but also space for improvisation and the joy typical of the holidays.

Over the course of several days:

• Specific technique and coordination training is carried out;
• There are games, tournaments and team challenges;
• Participants explore values ​​such as fair play, resilience and friendship;
• There's time to relax, make new friends and socialize with other kids who love football.

Working Hours

Participants should arrive at 08:30 AM, as that is the reception time.

From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the children will be enjoying a unique program that will create many wonderful memories!

Cancellation and refund policy

• Withdrawal up to 30 days before the start of the course: refund of the full amount paid;
• Cancellation up to 15 days before the start of the course: refund of 80% of the shift cost;
• Withdrawal up to 05 days before the start of the course: there will be no right to any refund, except if it is for health reasons.
