Each participant immerses themselves in a creative area and learns by doing for a week: playing, recording, rehearsing, writing, singing, acting, or photographing. Everything happens in a hands-on environment, with time to make mistakes, try again, and discover new forms of expression, with the help of excellent instructors.

The workshops at the summer camp help develop voice, creativity, communication, listening, presence, and teamwork. And, in the end, they'll take home something that they created themselves.

Local Creative Holiday Camp for young people in Lisbon

The creative summer camp in Lisbon takes place at the Lisbon Sound Society, in the Avenidas Novas area. The location is very convenient for families from Lisbon, Saldanha, Campo Pequeno, Avenidas Novas and nearby areas, and is easy to reach by public transport.

The program is organized into five-day, half-day creative labs. Each young person chooses the area they want to explore during the week.

For young people 13 to 17 years oldThe labs operate on a part-time basis and include instruments and studio work, stand-up comedy and small performances, theatre and dramatic expression, vocal technique and singing, mobile phone photography, and digital content creation.

The duration is 15 hours (3 hours per day), with schedules from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM or from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Each student can choose their preferred lab. The lab starts with a minimum of 8 students.

INSTRUMENT LABORATORY AND STUDIO: Play, experiment, record, and take your sound with you.
STAND-UP COMEDY LAB: With Pedro Lizandro: Write jokes, rehearse with a microphone, and record your performance.
THEATRE AND DRAMATIC EXPRESSION LABORATORY: Theatre, body expression, dramatic play and introduction to the performing arts.
Vocal Technique and Singing Laboratory: Musical expression, vocal technique, and singing.
Mobile Photography Lab and Digital Content Creation: Digital photography, content creation, visual communication, simple image editing, and digital storytelling.

Throughout the week there are practical exercises, breaks, and time for group creation. At the end, each participant leaves with a final product, such as a recording, photographs, video, or performance, in addition to a certificate of participation.
