Summer Holiday Camp in Carcavelos

At this summer camp in Carcavelos, the little ones will enjoy a summer holiday full of fun, games and lots of activities.

The summer camp in Carcavelos offers children aged 6 to 12 a very fun and educational program, including some days with excursions to Cascais, Lisbon, and Belém. Once at the camp, participants will engage in creative games, art workshops, and many other delightful activities.

The activities take place from June 15th to August 28th, held Monday to Friday throughout this period.

Timetable

Activities take place from 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM, with the possibility of extending into the afternoon – between 18:00 PM and 18:00 PM. In the morning, the organization welcomes participants until 19:45 AM.

Languages

The counselors at the Carcavelos Summer Camp are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, other participants are always available to help whenever communication difficulties arise.

Prices for Holiday Camps in Carcavelos

The registration fee includes insurance and a wristband, which are mandatory. If the student forgets or loses the wristband, a new one will need to be purchased at a cost of €2 per wristband.

• Early Bird Discount: Until May 31, 2026, you receive a 20% discount on the price of the week(s).
• Discount in the second week: When you sign up for two weeks, you get a 10% discount on the second week. The weeks do not need to be consecutive.
• Discount for afterschool students: Students enrolled in after-school study groups receive a 10% discount. Applicable to all fees except registration and extension.

Food at the Holiday Camp in Carcavelos

Students should bring from home a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, water, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes.

Please bring your lunch in a thermos, as there is no way to heat it up.

Payment Conditions

Payment must be made in advance, up to two weeks before the start of activities. Registration constitutes payment of the registration fee. 

Payment for the extended afternoon hours is made separately, after the administrative services have verified the departures.

Payment must be made via Multibanco/MBWay reference provided by Causas XXI, with the invoice being sent to the parent/guardian's email address. Receipts will be sent electronically to the email address provided by the parent/guardian on the registration form.

Specialized Care

The monitoring of activities will be ensured by qualified professionals from Causas XXI.

Causas XXI is not responsible for any valuables belonging to participants, except when these are directly entrusted to its safekeeping.

Furthermore, the organization reserves the right to make changes to the program whenever necessary or justified by force majeure.

Scheduled visits are subject to a minimum number of participants, and holiday camps will only take place with at least 10 registrations per week.

Transport

For journeys on the Cascais-Lisbon line, all participants must have a NAVEGANTE transport pass. If they do not have one, the cost of these journeys will be charged separately.

Services

The €25 registration fee includes insurance, wristband, cap, and rash guard. If a participant loses any of these items, they can be purchased separately.

Cancellation policy

Registration may be suspended or canceled due to annulment or withdrawal.
Registration will be suspended by decision of the Board when:
a) If the payment deadline is exceeded without justified reason;
b) If non-compliance with the rules and procedures of the Causas XXI Holiday Camps is verified;
The registration will be cancelled due to withdrawal, at the request of the parent/guardian.
Registration by the Participant, 15 days in advance, is done by sending an email notification to the secretariat – geral@causas.org.pt;
If registration is cancelled or annulled, the registration fee will not be refunded.
