Summer Camp in Carcavelos at Easter

Working Hours

The activities take place from 09:30 AM to 18:00 PM, with the possibility of extending into the afternoon – 18:00 PM to 19:00 PM. The organization welcomes the participants. until 8:45 AM.

Languages

The counselors at the Carcavelos Summer Camp are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, other participants are always available to help whenever communication difficulties arise.

Prices for Holiday Camps in Carcavelos

Each participant must pay the registration fee of €15, which includes insurance, and a wristband costing €2.

There is an option to extend the stay starting at 18 PM.

Food at the Holiday Camp in Carcavelos

Students should bring from home a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, water, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes.

Please bring your lunch in a thermos, as there is no way to heat it up.

Payment Conditions

Payment must be made in advance, up to two weeks before the start of activities. Registration constitutes payment of the registration fee. 

Payment for the extended afternoon hours is made separately, after the administrative services have verified the departures.

Payment must be made via Multibanco/MBWay reference provided by Causas XXI, with the invoice being sent to the parent/guardian's email address. Receipts will be sent electronically to the email address provided by the parent/guardian on the registration form.

Side Dishes

The monitoring of activities will be ensured by qualified professionals from Causas XXI.

Causas XXI is not responsible for any valuables belonging to participants, except when these are directly entrusted to its safekeeping.

Furthermore, the organization reserves the right to make changes to the program whenever necessary or justified by force majeure.

Scheduled visits are subject to a minimum number of participants, and holiday camps will only take place with at least 10 registrations per week.

Transport

For journeys on the Cascais-Lisbon line, all participants must have a NAVEGANTE transport pass. If they do not have one, the cost of these journeys will be charged separately.

Services

The wristband (€2) and the registration fee (€15) are mandatory. Insurance is included in the registration fee. If the participant forgets/loses the wristband, they can purchase one for €2.

Cancellation policy

Registration may be suspended or canceled in cases of cancellation or withdrawal;
Registration will be suspended by decision of the Board when:
a) If the payment deadline is exceeded without justified reason;
b) If non-compliance with the rules and procedures of the Holiday Causes XXI is verified;
Registration will be cancelled, due to withdrawal, at the request of the parents/guardians, with 15 days' notice, by sending a notification via email or mail to the afterschool office;
When registration is cancelled or annulled, the registration fee and weekly fee paid upon cancellation will not be refunded.
If the student is absent without a valid justification, the weekly fee will not be refunded.
In the case of prolonged illness, duly documented, absences may be subject to a discount or a refund of the amounts paid.
