The Cadaval 2025 summer camp runs until August 30th, with shifts organized by age groups:
– 6 to 11 years old
– 12 to 14 years old

At the Cadaval Holiday Camp, children will experience days full of adventure in close contact with nature, for a truly special holiday and an unforgettable summer. The space was designed to prioritize outdoor activities, encouraging connection with the environment and promoting, in a playful and educational way, the development of the participants' social skills.

The activities are organized in the form of games and group dynamics, creating an environment conducive to interaction, sharing, and discovery. Each moment is an opportunity for children to express themselves, create bonds, and explore new ways of relating to each other.

Between extreme challenges, exploration games, photo-papers, outdoor adventures, and even moments of relaxation like karaoke or team sports, this week will be so intense and fun that it will feel like you need a vacation after your vacation!

Participants must arrive on the first day, Sundays, between 16:00 PM and 18:00 PM, and departure on the last day of the shift, Saturdays, will be between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

Languages

The monitors can communicate with participants in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages ​​and can help with translation and clarification.

Prices for Holiday Camps in Cadaval 2025

In the summer, the price for the Cadaval Adventure Holiday Camp is €400 per participant for 7-day sessions and €800 per participant for 14-day sessions.

These prices include the entire program of activities, meals, and accommodation.

Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of the parents/guardians.

Spanning 50,000 m2, combining sports and adventure facilities with nature itself, in a setting where green predominates, the Holiday Camp in Cadaval features 3 picnic areas, 1 amphitheater, 2 playgrounds, 1 beach volleyball court, an adventure village park, a 175m aerial slide-circuit, a laser tag fort, orienteering courses, a climbing wall, 6 archery and blowgun shooting ranges, large lawns, a disco, a big ball field, a lowrope circuit, a spider web, a biological lake for canoeing, and a swimming pool.

Participants in the holiday camp in Cadaval are accommodated in high-quality, comfortable multi-room dormitories, separated by gender and age, always under the supervision of their monitors.

Food

At the Holiday Camp in Cadaval, each participant is entitled to 5 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and supper.
The meal plan includes a diverse menu, in sufficient quantity and appropriate to the age, the program of activities, and the general tastes of the participants.

If there is a need for special meals, or in cases where parents/guardians indicate this on the registration form due to religious reasons, allergies, or other restrictions, the organization will always try to create an alternative dish.

Transportation

The price does not include round-trip transportation to the holiday camp, which must be provided by those responsible.

Supervision of Holiday Camp in Cadaval

The organization of the holiday camp in Cadaval is the responsibility of Tempo de Aventura, an entity with extensive experience in creating holiday programs for children and young people since 1992. For almost three decades, the company has collaborated with leading institutions and companies, building a solid reputation in the sector.

On a daily basis, the monitors closely accompany the participants, encouraging autonomy and offering support in various activities. The time shared between monitors and young people is valued as an essential factor in integration, promoting safety, confidence, and personal development. This continuous monitoring contributes to strengthening skills such as responsibility, initiative, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Regarding the selection and preparation of the technical team, the organization adopts rigorous criteria to guarantee the quality of the work developed. The recruitment of monitors is done through advertisements and analysis of resumes, seeking candidates with the profile, experience, and skills suitable for the role.

Selection is carried out through structured interviews, which allow for the assessment of spontaneity, emotional stability, academic background, practical experience, and personal interests. The final choice of candidates is made based on a comparison of the profiles best suited to the educational mission of the summer camps.

Additional information

Behavior: The organization reserves the right, after prior information and contact with the parents/guardians, to send home any participant whose behavior significantly disrupts the operation of the holiday camp. All participants must comply with the instructions given to them by the monitors and respective camp coordinators, as well as comply with what is described in these internal regulations. Participants will have access to all activities according to their interests, except for personal, technical, or meteorological reasons, or as indicated by their parents/guardians.

What do I need to bring to the summer camp in Cadaval?

Clothing: Practical and sporty clothing in sufficient quantity; Comfortable shoes (and socks); Cap or hat; Bath and beach/pool towels; Swimsuit; A jacket and trousers. A clothing suggestion for the Gala Night.
Personal hygiene: Hygiene/bath products; Flip-flops for use in the pool and changing rooms; Earplugs – pool (if necessary); Sunscreen (mandatory)
Other Objects; A waterproof jacket; Sleeping bag (mandatory); Flashlight for night games; Individual water bottle or canteen, properly identified and for permanent use during activities (mandatory);

Other situations:

It is forbidden to bring sharp objects, alcoholic beverages and narcotics, or other substances or objects that endanger the participants. Participants should not bring valuables such as necklaces, rings, electronic games, etc.

If you are taking medication, you must inform the Holiday Camp team so that the situation can be assessed, and you must provide a medical statement describing its administration.

All personal belongings and valuables are the sole responsibility of the participants and their guardians, and the organization is not liable for any loss or damage to them.
