The focus is on artistic training, more specifically in the areas of music, dance, and theater. And of course, this dance summer camp will have many outdoor activities! It's a unique and impactful experience for the creative and personal development of each participant.
The Arts Summer School aims to foster and stimulate interest in Music, Dance, and Theatre through pedagogical training and entertainment for participants. The activities take place at the Klassik – Dance School in Alvalade, in Eugénio de Castro Rodrigues Street 9A, 1700-298 Lisbon.
Programme
Every day, participants will have workshops in Dance, Music and Theatre, complemented by an outdoor lunch and recreational activities. At the end of their week of classes, the children will present a show where they will impress everyone with their talent and progress.
DANCE WORKSHOPS
With classes full of swing, music, and choreography that will transform you into the next stylish Patrick Swayze! You'll learn to be comfortable with your body dancing solo and in groups, to trust your instincts, and to use your creativity to have fun.
THEATRE WORKSHOPS
You'll learn to laugh and make others laugh, and to embody the most unexpected characters! Still have doubts? Come and see for yourself everything that theatre can reveal and transform in you!
SINGING WORKSHOPS
Lack of confidence and the inability to express yourself emotionally and creatively will cease to be an issue after a week of SINGING at the ARTS Summer School. Through your voice, you will journey to the center of yourself and discover your artistic and personal potential. Believe me: singing will never be the same again!

Lots of music, improvisation, dance and… spectacle! The repertoire will be determined according to the average age of the participants registered each week, so it's not possible to reveal it yet. However, it's certain and guaranteed that these will be magical days!
Working Hours
The activities of the artistic summer camp will take place between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
- 8:30 AM – Arrival of participants
- 9am – Dance Class
- 10:30 pm – Break
- 11am – Theater Class
- 12:30 PM – Outdoor lunch
- 14:00 PM – Playful activity
- 15pm – Snack
- 15:30 PM – Music Class
- 17 PM – End. Participants drop off. The Academy will be open until 17:30 PM.
Every Friday at 17 PM, there will be a final presentation where parents/guardians can see the work done during the week.
Languages
The teachers and instructors at the Arts Summer School are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English.

The weekly cost includes lunch and two simple snacks (milk/juice and fruit/biscuits), one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Payment Terms for this Musical Theatre Summer Camp in Lisbon
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of €90 must be paid upon registration for the course, as communicated by the Lisbon Film Orchestra via email. Registration will only be valid after payment has been made and confirmation has been received by email.
Payment should be made by bank transfer to IBAN: [CGD] PT50 0035 0659 00012951730 41. The Tax Identification Number (NIF) and full tax address (as well as city and postal code) are required for issuing an invoice/receipt. Without this information, the organization cannot issue the document.
In case of withdrawal, the registration fee will not be refunded.

The Lisbon Film Orchestra Academy is a space dedicated to the artistic training of children, young people and adults, with a unique and pioneering concept in Portugal!
Since 2007, it has been organizing summer camps, always with the same goal: to share art! It is a leading educational project in the field of performing arts, offering excellent integrated teaching supported by professionals with proven experience and competence.
The organization is an institution accredited by the IPJ as organizers of holiday camps with license number 06/2011 DRLVT and complies with all requirements according to current legislation.
Participants are always accompanied by teachers or professional monitors, in a ratio of 10 to 1. During recreational activities and meals, they are always accompanied by monitors.
