Musical Theatre Workshops in Porto, where children from 3 years old will get to know and experience various musicals during the summer!
Do your children enjoy singing the hits from cartoons and TV series? This Musical Theatre summer camp in Valongo, Porto, is a unique opportunity for them to develop their artistic talents.
The “Step in Time” school in Valongo will be hosting weeks of Musical Theatre workshops in Porto, where participants will learn about and perform in the musicals “Mamma Mia”, “Inside Out”, “Descendants”, “Lilo & Stitch” and “Wicked”.
Each workshop lasts one week and includes a final presentation on Friday, at a time to be determined, where the work done in each workshop will be presented.

During this week, children and young people will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of Musical Theatre, combining a structured pedagogical method with the typical fun of summer holidays.
Pedagogy and Trainers
The teaching approach will be carefully adapted by each instructor, taking into account the specific characteristics of each musical and the ages of the participants.

Location of ATL Musical Theatre in Porto
During the week of July 21st to 25th, the workshops will take place at Step in Time, in Valongo, at Travessa Maria Luísa Almeida Matos Nº54 R/C, Valongo.
Starting July 28th, the workshops will be held at the "A Casinha da Dança" school in Baguim do Monte, because the Step in Time facilities will be under construction.
Programme
Each workshop will take place over one week. The program includes musical and dance activities, as well as a final presentation of the work developed in each workshop.

Languages
The monitors are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages and can help with translation and clarification.

There is a discount for participating in 2 or 3 workshops:
- 2 Workshops: €90 x 2= €180
- 3 Workshops: €85 x 3= €255
10% discount for siblings and for groups of more than 5 children.
Discounts cannot be combined.
Food – ATL Musical Theatre in Porto
Participants should bring their own lunch and snacks. The venue has a refrigerator to store lunches and a microwave where they can heat their food.
Additional information
Leaving the school grounds during lunchtime is not permitted.
