At ATL Surf on the Costa da Caparica, children will participate in two daily surf lessons with lots of fun in the water!

If your children can't resist the sea, the Surf Camp on the Costa da Caparica is the ideal setting for an unforgettable holiday! Designed for children and young people aged 6 to 18, it offers a week full of energy, learning and fun by the beach.

With two surf lessons a day, led by experienced professionals, participants will gain confidence, learn new techniques, and strengthen their love for the sport. There will also be socializing, games, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. All this in a safe, relaxed, and inspiring environment.

Why participate in the ATL Surf event on the Costa da Caparica?

The activity takes place at a school accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, with experienced and dedicated instructors, in a safe and fun environment.

Designed for children and young people aged 6 to 18, this summer camp offers a full week of surfing, new friendships and many adventures, both in and out of the water. From Monday to Friday, until September 13th, participants have two lessons per day and also the opportunity to try their first Stand Up Paddle (SUP)*.

Their own facilities include gender-separated changing rooms, providing comfort and hygiene so that children can change clothes and store their belongings safely during classes.

In addition, they offer hot showers for a relaxing bath after classes and a special area that serves both for dry training and for viewing photos and videos of the sessions. It is also a quiet space where children can rest and recharge between activities.

Working Hours

The after-school program in Costa da Caparica runs from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, with the possibility of adjustments upon prior request from parents.

Languages

The monitors are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to assist with communication difficulties because they speak other languages ​​and can help with translation and clarification.

A 10% discount is available for the second sibling or for registrations spanning more than one week (provided full payment is made in the first week). Discounts cannot be combined.

After registering, you will receive an invoice by email with the services included, their respective amounts and an IBAN to make the bank transfer.

With over 15 years of experience teaching surfing, this surf school team is composed of specialized and accredited professionals who use appropriate methods and materials to guarantee the quality of the lessons and safety in all activities. There is one instructor for every 6 students, ensuring personalized support and constant attention.

What do I need to bring to my surf vacation?

The most important thing to bring is joy and a positive attitude, along with:

• Swimsuit, to be worn under a wetsuit (like swimming trunks or boxer shorts for the guys).
• Sunscreen cream
• Rich cream to prevent possible diaper rash (like Nivea or Halibut)
• Beach towel
• Bottle of water
• A snack for the end of the day or money for it.
• Change of clothes, in case you get dirty (optional)
