The creATIVE ART CAMP guarantees a summer full of creative activities, designed to awaken in each child the joy of being an artist. This holiday camp in Caxias is for children aged 5 to 12.

The program at the ATL Holiday Camp in Caxias includes various activities, such as something different every day, including clay, music, sensory activities, painting, cooking, theater, yoga, and meditation.

There is a possibility that, if there is interest, the first two weeks of August will be opened.

The art school, which has already been recognized with the Best Cultural Space Award given by NIT Magazine, New in Oeiras, promotes music education, but is also a space for communion between all the arts and where individual and artistic creativity is privileged.

Program

The program includes various activities, from clay work, music, sensory experiences, painting, cooking, theater, yoga, and meditation. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty.

• Various activities related to visual arts, theater, painting, and sculpture. Here, children are free and creative.
• They do activities like dynamic games and yoga.
• Every week they go to the beach, museums, and parks.

Some activities take place in Jamor Park, Caxias Beach, Quinta do Jardim Park and Quinta Real de Caxias!

Languages

The monitors communicate in both Portuguese and English. Another advantage of this after-school program: it gives children the opportunity to develop their English.

ATL prices in Caxias

The prices for ATL in Caxias during the holidays are:

Discount

• 5% discount for a sibling on weekly registrations.

Minimum number of participants: 5. Maximum number of participants: 20.

Lunch

Meals (snacks and lunches) are the responsibility of the families. It is suggested that they bring packed lunches that can be heated at the after-school program in Caxias.

Specialized Care

The ATL Summer Camp in Caxias has experienced and dedicated professionals. The arts school has already been recognized with the Best Cultural Space Award given by NIT Magazine, New in Oeiras. The person responsible for the organization is Mónica Sousa, Founder of Alma and art teacher.

Additional information

• There may be a need to change some activities.
• All children should come dressed in comfortable clothes that can get wet and dirty.
• They should bring a backpack with 2 changes of clothes.
• Meals are brought from home in lunchboxes.
• Activities may be subject to change.
• We start the week with a minimum of 5 children and a maximum of 8 children.
• The first two weeks of August may be opened depending on the number of children and need.
• Bring a change of clothes, a hat, and a water bottle every day.
• On beach days, bring sunscreen, swimsuit, beach clothes, flip-flops, a backpack with a towel, a water bottle, and a hat.
• On Fridays, children should be dropped off at the Vasco da Gama Aquarium at 9:00 AM and picked up at Jamor at 5:30 PM.
• The Vasco da Gama ticket is paid for separately. (€3)
• A WhatsApp group will be created for important information.
• Photos and videos taken throughout the day will be posted in the group.
• On Fridays, you will need to bring cold food (no need to heat it up).
• On Fridays, children can bring a coin to buy an ice cream after lunch.
