The Science Summer Camp in Porto is the ideal program for little scientists, curious minds, or simply energetic children! It will take place over 6 days during the Christmas school holidays at the Júlio Dinis School in Porto. And the best Christmas present is seeing them happy learning and discovering the world! Children will encounter challenges that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. It's the perfect space to experiment, investigate, build, and imagine solutions, always with hands-on experience and learning through practice.

Mornings are dedicated to discovery! The methodology integrates various areas of knowledge — science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) — and follows Design Thinking, an approach that teaches you to think and solve problems creatively and collaboratively.

Each day brings a new adventure, full of fun, educational, and inspiring experiences that value know-how and the joy of learning through play.

Working Hours

The Science Summer Camp in Porto has activities from 9 am to 17 pm, with reception and drop-off of children from 8:45 am to 17:30 pm.

Languages

The monitors at the Science Summer Camp in Porto are able to communicate with participants in both Portuguese and English. Furthermore, many of the participating children are able to help if communication problems arise, because they speak other languages ​​and collaborate in translating and clarifying doubts.

The Discover Club, a science-focused after-school program in Porto, is organized by A DOIS S, a project dedicated to children that promotes experiences capable of stimulating curiosity, investigation, dialogue, and critical thinking. Activities cover areas such as science, engineering, arts, and creativity, always combining learning with fun.

The goal of A DOIS S is to create experiences that integrate scientific and playful-pedagogical components, valuing the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education model. Furthermore, the projects are "hands-on," providing engaging practical experiences that make the learning process more active and meaningful for children.
